Claire has Henoch-Schönlein Purpura (HSP). This website explains it best: http://familydoctor.org/online/famdocen/home/children/parents/special/birth/312.html
It started last Saturday night with some bumps. Sunday morning her legs and butt was covered with the bumps. Sunday evening she started vomiting every thing that she ate or drank and that lasted for 3 days. Wednesday evening I called the doctor and she said to take her to the ER. They had to put an IV in to give her fluids (that has to be one of the most aweful things a mother has to go through) because she was dehydrated. This is Claire in the ER:
They ran some blood test to check her kidneys and it all came back ok. She got 3 days of fluids and drank some juice. They then sent us home and 10 minutes after getting home she threw up the juice.
Thursday she kept everything (some apple juice, applesauce and a banana) down until that evening but only some of it came back up.
Yesterday (Friday) was the first day she has kept something down (some apple juice, applesauce and a banana).
This morning she has been screaming in pain every time I move her. I think it's her knees and ankles that hurt. I can't get her to take anything for the pain but if it keeps up then I'll call Nana and have her come help me get her to take some Motrin.

OH gosh! I am so sorry hun! It is so hard seeing your little ones in pain. I have seem my share of IV's in my kids and I hate it every time! Hugs!
girl, call walmart or cvs pharmacy, I know it's a bit much, but behind they counter (because it's frigerated) they sell tylenol suppositories. It will help the pain, they will tell you the apropriate dosage for her weight. I can't believe you are going through this. I googled it earlier to try and figure it out. Your poor baby!
I was thinking the same thing Susan was...tylenol suppositories.
I was wondering about her when you didn't show up to kindermusik on Wed.
Let me know if you need a dinner made or if I can help in anyway, take Kayla to Gym on Monday? You let me know.
xoxo
